No blending Portrait

An experiment I did in painting. The objective was to not give in to the idea of thinking the painting will look better once blended. I wanted to have very clear brush strokes, minimal softness with a look somewhat like a Sargent painting. It wasn't very easy but Im happy with the way it turned out. If your paintings often feel too soft or out of focus, I recommend doing this. At the very end, you will have a much better idea of what should be blended and what edges should be kept.
